Danny BowmanSuspected to be the first selfie addict in the world, Danny spent up to 10 hours a day taking selfies, and took up to 200 selfies a day for over 2 years. He began skipping classes to take selfies in the bathroom and eventually dropped out of school at the age of 16. In pursuit of the 'perfect selfie' he lost over 12 kg and never left the house for 6 months. His inability to take this selfie lead him to self-hate and eventually to a suicide attempt. After being hospitalised at the age of 19, he was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, technology addiction and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. Today he has recovered from this addiction and frequently appears on TV as a speaker for selfie awareness.
