Recently gaining popularity particularly amongst teenagers and young adolescents, the app Snapchat has come to the attention of many selfie takers. Not the average conventional photo sharing social media app, Snapchat allows users to share 'snaps' or videos of up to 10 seconds in length, making it a perfect medium for the selfie trend to develop.
The pen feature allows users to draw on their photos, and caption their photos with 1-2 lines of text. A range of basic filters such as saturated, sepia and black and white are available however, recent updates have lead to the introduction of geolocation, time, temperature and speed filters. |
